iTero® Digital
Impression System

In order to accurately assess restoration or TMJ needs, we take an impression of the teeth and bite so we can ensure it looks natural and fits comfortably within your dental structure. Instead of creating a physical model, which can be messy and uncomfortable, we’ve now digitized the process. In minutes, we can scan all of the teeth with a handheld instrument that captures thousands of data points per second. On a nearby monitor, these are quickly pieced together to generate a perfect impression. This method is fast, precise, and we never have to waste time on retakes.

Intraoral Cameras

Rather than just examining you with our eyes, we’ll also utilize a small camera to take close-up, high-resolution images of your teeth and gums. This enables us to see parts of your mouth that we can’t otherwise, plus we can display the images on a large monitor so we can more easily spot the early signs of decay or damage. Your dentist will even go over your images with you so you’ll literally be able to see your smile from their perspective and better understand what they are talking about.

All-Digital X-Rays

X-ray technology has grown by leaps and bounds since the days of traditional film. Now, with fully digital X-rays, we can capture much sharper images of the teeth and jawbone in a fraction of the time compared to the old method. Plus, the process emits 90% LESS radiation, which is great news for our patients, our parents, as well as our team!

Soft-Tissue Laser Dentistry

In the past, treating a patient with advanced gum disease would involve a minor surgical procedure, in which the gums were pulled away from the teeth so the roots could be cleaned. Thankfully, we can now accomplish this non-invasively with laser dentistry. Our soft-tissue laser emits a concentrated beam of light energy we can use to remove harmful bacteria from deep below the gum line without making any incisions. In fact, the treatment is so gentle that most patients don’t even need local anesthetic.
