Starting this November, which\nis officially Mouth Cancer Action Month, make sure you follow these 3 tips so\noral cancer doesn\u2019t have a chance to sneak up on you and claim another life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Keep An Eye Out for the Early Signs <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the biggest problems when it comes to oral cancer is\nthat most people don\u2019t really know what the early signs are, meaning they only\ngo to see a doctor once symptoms are very obvious and the cancer has already\nprogressed to a dangerous stage. Occasionally, be sure to take a close look\ninside your mouth and look for the following telltale signs of cancer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Persistent oral sores that bleed easily and won\u2019t\nheal<\/li><li>Scaly or discolored patches of tissue that stick\nout<\/li><li>A new lump or growth <\/li><li>Chronic pain in the lips,&nbsp; tongue, or mouth that doesn\u2019t seem to have a\ndental cause<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Other symptoms like chronic sore throats, a voice that is\nhoarse all the time, and constantly having the feeling that something is stuck\nin your throat may also indicate oral cancer. If they\nspot something suspicious, they can arrange for you to get a biopsy for a\ndiagnosis, which will enable treatment to start right away if needed.
