If you or someone nearby have experienced a knocked out tooth, collect the missing tooth and carefully rinse it under warm water to remove debris. Do not scrub the tooth or touch its root. A missing tooth has the greatest chance for reattachment when dealt with in the first two hours of loss, so do not delay in calling the dentist. Store the tooth in its socket, in the cheek, or in a bag of milk until you\u2019re able to reach the dentist\u2019s office.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Toothache<\/span><\/h3>\n

Toothaches don\u2019t get better on their own. Call your dentist as soon as you experience an aching tooth to seek quick attention and avoid an abscess, or serious infection that could spread to the brain.
